Post COVID-19 Syndrome
Some people continue to experience symptoms after their initial recovery of COVID-19. These people are sometimes described as “long haulers” and this condition has been called post-COVID-19 syndrome or “long COVID-19.” The symptoms experienced are generally considered to be effects of the viral infection that persists for more than four weeks after an initial diagnosis of COVID-19. Seniors and those with other serious medical conditions seem to be more likely to experience this, but even young and otherwise healthy individuals can be affected too.
Common signs and symptoms include:

Fatigue
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Lingering cough
Body aches
Headache
Joint Pain
Chest pain
Gastrointestinal symptoms (loss of appetite, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting and abdominal pain)
Memory, concentration or sleep problems
Palpitations
Loss of smell or taste
Depression or anxiety
Fever
Dizziness upon standing
Possibly worsened symptoms after physical or mental activities
